From our Community

Here's what our past graduates had to say about our program.

Kelly, Program Graduate
Through the Employment Focus program, I realized that with a little encouragement, a strong focus and determination, I can achieve anything. Learned to stop hesitating with my life plan and really focus on what I need to complete and/or do to conquer my dreams…

Patricia, Program Graduate
This program has helped me establish a daily routine. It gave me a place to go and learn more about myself and the workforce. It also helped me overcome the fear of facing the world, something I struggled with before. I now realize that the skills I use at home are transferable to the real world.

Monica, Program Graduate
Coming to Employment Focus has boosted my self-esteem and helped me learn basic computer skills. The program has also given me a better understanding of the workforce and what’s expected of me. It taught me how to job search beyond just handing out resumes...

Katrina, Program Graduate
I benefitted from Employment Focus by taking the step to show up, despite how scared and nervous I was. Now, I have a solid plan and know where I want to go in life. I also have a strong support system from the people I've met along the way. Instead of saying, "I can't," I now say, "I can."

Mystie, Program Graduate
I've learned I have the skills to find and keep a job, and discovered who I am and what I have to offer. I've gained confidence and built my self-esteem. For the first time in years, I see a light at the end of the tunnel and know I can reach it. The fear of not being good enough is gone, thanks to the staff and the other ladies in the group. Thank you all.
